That's great,

For me, it's just that I have not found a better place than Curt's shop for the amount of care and dedication they give.

Curt does not give out lifetime alignments, how long I don't know. But think about it, if they can do a lifetime alignment and pay their alignment guy to do it every time you bring it in, do you think he is going to take the time to get it "just right" or just close.

The 1st time I went to Curt's shop was 3 weeks after NTB did an alignment and the car just didn't seem handle right, even though the car tracked correctly. The alignment was off and I had almost ruined the 2 front tires. It took Curt 3 hours to get the alignment back to where it should be.

The reason most of us back Curt's shop, along with the great work they do, is the care that goes with that work.

I don't think you will find a better shop, or one tha cares like he does. Let alone one that does both better.

To Date Curt's shop has installed the following for me:
  • MY04 Transmission
  • CompTech Flywheel, ACT Pressure Plate, OEM Clutch
  • C&R Radiator
  • Billstein PSS9 Coilovers, Corner leveled, weight and aligned
  • 4.57 Diff

And this does not have the maintainace that he has done (Fluids, Alignments)

Curt has aligned my S2000 and my G35 with excellent results. As you've read already, his quality of work blows everybody else away. That's why I drive from Galveston County just for him to work on my car.

And to answer your question, C&C isn't open on Saturdays. If I were you, I would wait till Monday and have him do the alignment. The car just rides better when C&C does the alignment. Trust us!

That depends. If you hit a large enough pot hole as you drive off from his shop, I'd say about 30 seconds.

Obviously it will depend on how and where you drive.

Great guy!!! Talked to him today, about to head out to his shop right now. He is going to replace my rear hubs and bearings, as well as install a full suspension plus alignment; really cool guy.

Curt will be doing any future work on my car from now on!!

thanks,
juan

I got to tell you guys, that when it comes to setting ride height after you get a new set of coil overs, it is A LOT OF WORK. I just put Ground Control coil overs on and it took 12 adjustments to get the height balanced. And we have to do it again because the car is 1/2" too low and can't get the right alignment.

To set the height you measure the 4 corners of the car, before you change the springs (I didn't do). You then change the springs and adjust the coil over to match at each corner, but it's not as easy as it sounds. To adjust to coil over it must be unloaded (raise off the ground) and then set back down until you get what you want. But it's important to know that when you adjust one corner, it affects the opposite corner too. That 's why it takes so long.

So Curt fee of $350.00 (I think, don't quote me on that) is a very fair price as it can take 4-5 hours.UPDATE PRICE IS $395.00
