Default Need Coilover Suggestions

my mind has exploded from reading thread after thread about this coilover and that coilover. so i come to the ask my fellow houstooks for suggestions

i need to find a good coilover setup that gets the job done right for my needs.

i just have a few minor parameters:

1. it will prob never see the track so i need something that rides comfortably on the streets.

2. i dont want to tuck, i like the look of the fender just barely above the tire though. but a coilover having the ability to slam is ok. (i dont know if this affects options due to the #1 on this list)

3. dont want any crazy price coilover that will prob never get used to its fullest abilities, so lets keep it below 1500

A few i have read about that might get this done are:

-ground control/koni yellows
-buddy club n+
-bilstein pss9 (although i read this doesn't seem to go low enough, but hear ride quality is great)

has anyone had exp with these brands? and any other choices that anyone can recommend?

i just purchased buddy club n+ yesterday from an s2ki vendor... i paid $855 shipped for brand new...

like you, i don't plan to track ever, and wanted the ability to lower it as much as i want...

if interested, pm Gruppe-S, or call them directly...
949-457-1234 ext 2, and ask for mike...
he told me he had 2 left, and with me buying 1, he has 1 set left...

I will narrow it down to PSSS9 & Buddy N+, if you wanna save money and good ride go with Buddy Club and if you want real comfortable ride but not as low, go with PSSS9.

I've owned two of the three you listed. (Bilstein & Buddy Club)

From your requirements, I'd get the Bilsteins. Lifetime warranty on the shocks and comfy ride. If you want the fender to be right at the tire or lower then buddy club. Bilstein are a little pricier but the quality is definitely there. Most of the other brands like megan, apexi, etc.. are comparable to the buddy clubs so take your pick of which one is cheaper. Good luck!

its killing me that i cant find (or havent come across yet) a set that has the comfort of the bilstein with the ability to go low like the buddy club.
