Default Need help with a tune-up

Hey guys,
I just hit 95k miles. Alex sat in my car today and said it was idling rough ( never really thought about it), and I think its time for a tune-up. I'm in need of a valve adjustment, compression test, map whack, all fluids changed, whatever else that can be done so I can get the car running properly. Being mechanically inclined, I'm wondering if there is anyone that would be willing to dedicate a day to helping me (actually being the primary person) to work on my car. Beer + food will be supplied..

..this topic is also leading me to see if anyone would be interested in a DIY day/meet? Not at my house because I still live at home and I won't be allowed to have beer at the house (LOL WHAT A LOSER) ( i might might might be able to use the house if the parents leave for the weekend, but that wont be known for a while), but if anyone is generous enough to provide somewhere to hold this, I will provide beer!

would anyone be generous enough to open their house to hold the meet? I'm sure everyone coming will provide something whether it be food, tools, etc.

You sure you need a compression test? There's no reason to suspect you losing power to the cylinders unless you've accidentally done something to cause it.

Map whack... go take a screwdriver and hit your MAP gently a few times and done.

Fluids, find a place I don't mind helping you change out your transmission and diff fluid.
