Default new here :)

hey guys I'm new to the s2k community(came from clubrsx )! just picked up a 2003 Silverstone with black interior, super fun to drive.

the car is excellent, no problems except normal wear and tear from previous years. however, I noticed when I drive 80+ mph, my seats and shifter start to shake pretty violently. keep in mind my steering wheel is fine, no vibrations there. it's just the seats and shifter that vibrate.

a friend of mine told me to get the differential balanced? where can I get that done .. thanks!

I would try tire balance as well. That dont work look for broken mounts . You could also try not to drive 80+

iono it sounds like something i had happen to my car. It turned out it was just a loose bolt. I dropped it off at the mechanic, he called me about 20 mins later and said to pick it up. Mild vibration is expected but when i would hold the shift knob my hard hurt. Take it to a trusted mechanic. Welcome to s2ki

I knew the name inhale sounded familiar! my sn on crsx is dhatb0ijohnny, currently selling a few things there.

wouldn't unbalanced tires cause the steering wheel to shake? never the less I'll go get the tires balanced

vtecmonster: my shifter would shake around, but not enough to hurt my hand.

and thanks for the warm welcome
