My brakes should be here next week so I'll need to do some laps to wear them in. I'll let you know if I"ll come out.

Oh.. could I bring someone out for a ride-along as well?

thx

What kind of brakes did you get?

I think at GSS they aren't too fond of spectators going for rides. It would be pretty tough to convince them.

However, at red meat and race fuel that could be different since the events are loosely watched. I've seen people double up in cars.

Thanks for making the thread, D

GSS, nothing happening labor day weekend.

Important links: Grandsport Speedway Track Day info and schedule (at the bottom): http://grandsportspeedway.com/driveyourcar.html

Red meat and race fuel (as said above): http://msrhouston.com/events/red-meat-and-race-fuel
is being held August 11 & 25 | September 8 & 22 | October 13 & 27. So that's 6 more chances for $75 track days.

Ok..just a friend asked about coming out, but i'll let him know.

I got a set of xp10/xp8 and new rotors. I was needing brakes anyways and figured WTH I only drive it on the weekends and back/forth to tracks.
My brackets for my seats should be in soon as well.

Hopefully i'll make aug 14th. Still need to change the oil though this weekend.

I think Mike was referring to myself giving someone a ride along??? If that's the case then it's perfectly fine. Sometimes that's the only way I get seat time. Lol. Most tracks do not allow people to ride along with you unless you are a member at that track or you are an instructor. But to what Seth was saying, MSRH Red Meat and Race you could probably get away with it =).

Ya sorry...that's what I was referring to. Hell i wouldn't trust myself with someone being scared shitless, but apparently I did pretty well.

Ok.. I'll see if they want to come out on the 14th and get some ride alongs and hang out for a bit. Brakes should be here wednesday. FTW.

Had a good time at MSRH yesterday. Very light traffic and the track was opened for 3hrs. I used up a whole tank of gas in 3 sessions. Gotta love phone videos.
