Possible relocation to Texas
Hey guys,
I currently live in socal and I am thinking of moving to Texas. Now I do not have much knowledge about Texas so i wanted to ask you guys which city or neighborhood will be a good place to relocate? Looking for safe, quite and nice (fairly new). Also do you guys have rich neighborhood and if so l, where are they? Thanks

From your description I would say you should take a look at Sugarland or the Woodlands if you are thinking about the greater Houston area. Texas is a pretty large place...

sugar land for sure man...it just keep growing and property value around here keeps going up cuz of all the new businesses popping up.
look into telfair...its still a new and growing neighborhood. and definitely in the price range your looking for. how i know? i live in sugar land
ok i just reread what you said lol....rich neighborhood. telfair has custom homes 3+ mil across the street from where i live and damn they are nice. but they have some nice custom homes coming from 450k-800k

You don't need to spend that much $ here to have a nice house.Lots of houses are the same your obviously just paying for area.

$300k will get you a 4000 sqft home. $600k might get you a 6000 sqft home or you can get a 3000 sqft home with waterfront view for that price. If you don't mind spending a little more, $19million will get you this: http://www.click2houston.com/news/-1...6/-/index.html

sugarland is closer to houston and chinatown and galleria than woodlands, i say sugarland , what are you gonna be doing in houston, cali has better weather ,it gets way to hottt here
