quick question about A/C

Default quick question about A/C


so i think my car is having a problem with the A/C. it blow cold when I'm driving. However, sometime when I'm at a dead stop it just blow warm air and it get cold again as i beginning driving again. anyone know what it might be? compressor maybe?

any idea would be grateful. i dont drive it daily so it hasn't really bother me yet.

Dude the same thing happens to me

Sometimes it blows cold then turns to hot air. I took it to my dads friends shop he told my dad something about a relay but I have no idea. Really sucks having to drive with windows down

My IS was doing that.When my friend checked it out the fan was blowing the wrong way for some reason.The hot air was blowing out the grill.So he just switched it up and voila!

I believe it need a recharge so ima get it done sometime this week when i get some free time. i asked a few mechanics and they all told me the chances that it need a recharge are really high so ima do that first.

Before you charge the system, make sure to take some pressure readings and look at the window glass (on high side line near dryer) to see if there are bubbles (low on R134a).

If your problem lies elsewhere and you just charge another can of refrigerant without knowing, you could overpressure the system (more time consuming to fix).

thanks for the advice. ima take it to one of my friend's mechanic. he's gonna test it and recharge it if necessary.
