The dealer said that he could NOT find it by VIN - which sounds odd to me.

I might try a different dealership.

I do not have the code card.

Thanks.

There is a serial number on the back end of the unit. They said that they could use that number to retrieve the code.

I was just trying to find a way to get the code without having to remove the unit - being lazy I guess.

Try looking in the glove compartment or door jam for the sticker. Some of the dealerships put it there for ya. Also, try and look in your manual. I found mine in the glove compartment.

Hope ya find it.

Places to look for the Radio Code. Remember, the radio code is only 5 digits.

1}Glove Box
2}Owners Manual
3}Trunk {Top}
4}Remove radio and in the back of the radio you will find the code

It should be on a card that came along in your owners manual.

Thanks for the advice.

I'll check those locations when I get home.

This would all be easier if I could find that card. I remember having it in the owners manual portfolio - but it has since disappeared.
