I didnt get an Elise mainly because of the reasons below and mostly because I was DEEPLY afraid of maintenance issues.

From an S2000 to an Elise
I daily drove a 2004 S2000 for 11k miles and I

 

Good read. how much is an Elise?

 

MSRP $41k-$45k. Don't know if they are marked up like the early S.

 

I wonder how they are holding up on our pothole filled roads.

I wouldn't be concerned about reliability; the Elise has a Toyota drivetrain and is
a very simple car otherwise(not much of power anything).

I wouldn't be surprised if the Elise is more reliable than the S in several categories over
the long haul.

yep, one of my clients owns one, said it's always in the shop for one thing or another.

How many miles does he have on it so far and what color is it?
