Jesus christ 3 in a weekend? wow, i'm sorry for all you guys i hope the cars come back in one piece. its a shame we truly work hard for our precious s2k only to have on individual destroy that pride put into the car in a matter of seconds. i always check for s2000 stuff on craigslist and icch (h-i). although i park in the garage everynight i don't think thats still safe i live in apartments with a garage. anything can happen i will be investing in a low jack after reading this.

 

my car got broken into in my apartment complex near galleria two days ago...
nothing damaged...
however, they stole random stuff... my LED interior dome lights, change holder with all my change (maybe $4.50?), my flashlight, and my nike basketball shoes out of my trunk...
they didn't steal my alpine head unit nor my seats (due to kodokan seat locks)...

yesterday, thanks to the rain, i found out how they got into the car w/o ripping the top or breaking the window...
they knew exactly where the door handle/lock were, b/c thats where they jammed a wedge there... and thanks to that, the water seeps in through there...

fkn thieves...

im guessing the pop the steering column to be able to turn and stuff. but wow ... wish they had better quality camers to be able to zoom in better and get the plates and see their faces.

OMG, they made it look like it was nothing...and its like no one notices a CIVIC towing an S2000 out of a garage...OMG...WTF

 

It wouldn't be surprising if they just said they were helping out a friend with his stalled car, when questioned. I suspect most non-car folks just lump the S in with other imports and would assume they're legitimately "tinkering with cars".

 

exactly, thats no surveillance camera its like one of them cheap web cams quality was horrible. they might as well just rip them cameras off that wall cause its of no help what so ever, too many green civics in houston lol ... but man it truly sucks bro.

 

i don't think these are regular car thieves, regular car thieves would see the camera and prob not taking the car thats my guess, and my bet all three s2ks that got hit up were by these sons of bitches. thats alot of driving to where ever it is they going to not be noticed. i wonder if they took it somewhere nearby maybe within a mile radius or something?? cause two of them were out the galleria area if i read correctly. wheres the third s2k from?

 

You would be surprised my friends integra that was stolen was pushed from the rear from west park and briar park all the way to dunvale and westheimer into an apartment. The car had four flats and one tire shredded and was riding on rim.
