Came home at 11 last night after work and parked where I usually park (not in a garage). Come out in the morning and notice my passenger door creaked open a bit, go a little further notice my top slashed and open the doors and yay my seats are ripped off the rails and gone!

Only good part to this shitty ass story is my sound system wasn't taken and the rest of the car wasn't damaged.

 

aww damn...will insurance cover it?

 

I need to wait on a claim number by the HPD, still haven't called me back- it's been almost an hour.

That fukin blows. Where in Houston? Did you have an alarm? I would suggest seat locks.

 

It's funny because I just moved here from south florida. All I can remember is dozens of s2000s being broken into and seats being stolen. And yet mine never got touched. Couldn't even last a week here without getting hit.

 

That's crazy, I just moved here from S.Florida and I was going to say this is very common in S.Florida. Hope it doesn't become a reoccuring theme here in Houston. Maybe the insurance company will cut you a nice check and you'll be able to buy some Brides or Sparco seats.
