Default Should i jump on it?

Hi guys am from Houston, My first car i had was a nissan 240sx but got tired of that auto 240 so sold it n then bought a 90 240sx with an sr20 engine its was pretty fast. Then i decided to sell it n buy my self an s2000 so here I am. a guy i met at school is selling me his s2000 its a 2001 nfr it has 98k miles but its all in parts all the way to the frame he was planing to put an ls1 n paint the car but he run out of funds,he has everything to put it back together, also hes giving me 2 engines the original with 98k miles and another one that he saids it need new bearing, also the car has j's 4.77 gears,skunk2 exhaust, header, and some corbeau seat with harness. the only things the car doest have its soft top and hood, hes asking 4500 is that a good price?since am not familiar with this car i need an opinion from ya guys thanks

for me,

that would not be just a no... that would be a hell no... you can find ap1's for 8-9k that come running already with out having to assembled it.

if you're mechanically inclined and don't mind sand baggin' him on price, i would entertain the idea. but, even then that is a tall order...

also protip: the "j's 4.77 is most likely a kia sorento gear that he got installed in to a factory housing..." and just trying to pass it off as a j's...
