Default slash top

Someone put a 2 foot slash on my top last night when they try to break it. Hopefully JE can replacing it fast. Please Please no rain. It seems nothing sticks to the top. I have try duct tape but the texas heat makes the adhesive don't work where well.

tape won't work. but if you park it, and think it might rain... this is what I did...

plastic bag streached out over the cut, duct taped down OVER a towel, and then put the car cover over that (if you have it) so it doesn't blow away, even though the car cover isnt' water proof.

the cost of replacing the top and labor is around 1600... so I hope you have a low deductable.

Yep... It sucks... Join the S2k 'slashed' top club. What really sucked about my slashing, was that the car was sitting at my apt complex in a covered garage (about 50ft from my apartment). Damn pricks.

just keep in mind, it takes a good two days to have the new top installed from a reputable top/fabric shop.

yellow2001, sorry to hear this happened to you.
Did someone just slice it for the hell of it or did you have stuff stolen out of the car also?
Good luck with the rain...
