this is true. Although I haven't had many problems with Sprint yet, I miss my T-Mobile service. I think I like the SIM card thing.

it is true all carriers have thier problems. It's been said many times, the question is not who's the best, but who's not the worst.

Sorry it didn't work out for you Bruce. Hope you get it all worked out.

Well I have to say I have been with the following carriers: Verizon, Cingular and T-Mobile. I have to say by far T-Mobile has been the best, the fact that I can use my phone anywhere in Europe was a bonus (GSM). On top of that, I hardly get many dropped calls.

But as people have said above, all the carriers probably have their problems.... its just T-Mobile (at least for me) seem to have the least.

TDMA and CDMA are old technology, GSM is the wave of the future (well at least for the US, Europe has had it for the past 10 years)!!!

T Mobile is a great service.... but TDMA and GSM are the older technology. CDMA is by far the newest technology for wireless in the US

Eh... no... CDMA is not new technology. It has been around since WWII.

Well it looks like John has come through and did what he said he would do. With any luck we should have some new phone this week and hopefully they will work a lot better than the old ones.

Thanks John

Got our new phones yesterday, so lets see how it goes.

A question though, 2 weeks ago the phones would take 3-5 days and could not be sent next day air, but after Sprint almost messed up and try to charge me for the phones, I said that I would just go someplace else, they where sent next day air. How does that work?

happy to hear the phones came in... maybe seeing they messed up during the process, they ddin't want you out of a faulty phone anymore and had to spend MORE money to make you a satisfied customer? It's a part of business, we all know that, if we can save on shipping here and there, that calcuate in MILLIONS of dollars a year of saving. I'd be happy that the updated phones came in and not the same model as any other carrier would have done usually.
