Stolen S2000
My baby got taken last night. Here's the details in case anyone sees it or anything matching it:
2004 Silverstone Metallic
Factory Hardtop in matching color
Illinois plate (front and back)# S40 4441
Only 19,XXX miles
Completely stock
Brand new G-Force rival tires
Taken from my apartment on Silber road and I-10 sometime between 6:30PM yesterday (Jan 20) and this morning at 7:30AM.
I just moved here and thought I'd be OK with my hardtop and seat locks in a gated apartment complex garage, but apparently not. I've already contacted the police and they don't even come out for things like this. I made my report over the phone and called Progressive. Hopefully they'll come through for me since I paid $23,000 only six months ago.
This was my dream car guys. I'm an ex Honda engineer and this was the most perfectly unmolested and low mileage car I could find after years of searching. I can't express how upset I am. I was just getting into meeting the S2000 guys around here and went to the last C&C and have gone to two autocrosses recently. I was really excited about finally becoming part of this tight knit group, and now it's all been stolen away.

Hey Guys, update.
It was taken between 3:10AM and 3:40AM this morning. I've got pictures of the vehicle used to steal it and the criminals involved from my apartment security cams. The vehicle was:
A late model Nissan Frontier
White or light silver
Extended cab
Kind of dirty, with dark grey or black mud on it
Something yellow (possibly a toolbox) in the bed
I'm looking for more details as we speak.
