Hi everyone, my car has a test pipe (with the CEL simulator) and I need to change my license plate, but they required me to get an emission test done.

Can I get some advices and experiences from you guys about that ? Once you gone test-pipe you don't want to go back, so I am trying to exhaust all of my options before accept the fact that I have to lose it.

You have to put the cat on for the test and swap back after. I just had to do this last month, it doesn't take more than 20 minutes each time.

 

Thanks for the response, I ventured to get it inspected anyway and passed it. They tested the OBDI and that was it.
