Default Timewarner/Road Runner Blows!

They are some of the most incompetent SOB ever. Why you ask? It started yesterday when I got home and the internet was down. I figure usual upgrades, and call them to make sure. They said no known problems in my area. We did some line checks, and nothing. I then go and chillax. Hour later, my sister comes through the front door with this note from Timewarner saying "they've filtered our cable TV/internet line b/c they saw us connected but not subscribed to the cable TV." I quickly called them up and told them the situation and they said they'll have a dispatcher come back and take the filter off. I got really pissed and tired of waiting on the punk ass, and went to my neighbor's backyard with their permission (where the box is) and looked for this so called filter, and no filter, just a un-hooked line. I hooked it back up and voila I'm back on the internet.

I had to vent, b/c this really was a PITA.

Yeah! My TWC internet was down most of the morning till around 2pm today. Talk about being bored out of my mind.

When I was getting my Road runner hooked up, the techs were supposed to be there between 2:00 and 6:00. They showed up at 9:00 PM. Then they asked me for a flash light and screwdriver. They were not able to get my internet connection set up that day and in addition knocked out my cable TV for 3 days until a supervisor was able to come out and fix it..... I really hate TWC b/c they are so big that they don't give a flip about customer service.

yeah they suck.

my was down for 2 months. it took over 6 service techs to find out what was wrong. All i got was, "hmm, i don't know why its not working, they need a sent a higher level tech out" Which was a week later, than another week and another. i was finally able to talk to some "manager" Accord to him there responds time is one of the best.

Well, it seems that mine is not really back up just yet. It's crawlin' real s-l-o-w tonight.

Feels like a dial-up night.
