The quick run down.

-"Test drove" my car before they had details of what was wrong with it.

-Wrecked it because the tech was hot rodding (with the top down) and lost control (couldn't drive)

-Russell and Smith has been very unneigborly about the whole situation.

get a lawyer to draft up a letter. if they don't meet your demands (fair ones of course) sue their asses.

 

every mechanic shop has insurace...it should cover the damages...i think you should get a lawyer and file charges...they messed up by not providing you details on who was driving where was he driving and why was he driving...and finally never ever take your car to any dealer to get it serviced...i pick up parts for my uncles shop and everytime im at BMW i see the way their techs rag out peoples cars...ur better off going to a trusted neighborhood shop...keep us updated on what happes with this man...good luck

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the support all. It has been a brutal week and I am going to need a vacation before long, but thanks indeed.

 

Hey man. No matter what happens with your case, I want to congratulate you on your efforts. Your details and pictures that you posted on your blog give a very good sense of how you got screwed by those bastards. I can only imagine of how furious I would be if I was in your shoes.
As you can see many consumers are fed up with big companies jerking them around. Many of us will just get fed up and walk away with whatever crappy deal they get. your perseverance is unique and it's paying off. Just don't give up the fight.
