Default ARP studs

I have had some unfortunate incidents with my lugs, and am looking to get all 4 wheels replaced with ARP studs.
I hit up TTW for an estimate. I am lokoing to see if anyone else has had them installed to determine if the estimate is in line with the norm.

Thanks for the help.
Forrest and Kyle are awesome, but I want to get the best price and be fair at the same time.

Your help is appreciated.

A quick check found that Password has those studs in packages of five for 17.59/ea. The total I would think would be in the under $600 range.

Problem is that for each wheel new bearings need to be pressed in. So labor is a killer.
the studs are cheap, the bearings are 3-4x more per corner and labor is crazy.

Since I have neither the press nor the skills (z?) I am waiting for others who have done it to reply. (Yeah you Richard)

Peter, you should buy yourself a hydraulic press. I sold mine prior to my move thinking I wouldn't have room for it. I think you can get a better deal on bearings from Napa or AutoZone price wise versus the dealer.

You can find good price from napa i last changed my old car hatch with napa bearings and arp studs and had autozone press them i think i spent roughly 500-600 altogether but then again it was a civic hatch not a s2k so price will vary, if someone has a press bribe them with beer haha.

are you replacing the bearings as a precautionary thing or are you having a bearing problem and i take it you broke a wheel stud? i have a press but i wouldn't know what to charge for that. 600$ for wheel studs just sounds crazy but the head studs for my diesel was around 400$ so i guess thats not too far of a stretch good luck on your endeavors

Maybe buy this for $150

I have been reading that replacing bearings on tracked S2K's may be a common occurrence.

I ran into this situation last year when I broke 2 studs. I got the studs to do both front wheels and ended up getting an entire spindle for a cheaper price then replacing all the bearings.

Thanks, it may be worth looking into replacing the spindle if it saves all the labor.
