Default Attention S2K Owners!

Next time you get in your car. Sit back...take a deep breath...and remember the first time you pushed that sexy red button.

I do that from time to time, guess that is what happens when you wanted something for 5 years and finally get it.

Good idea! Although right now my car feels totally new again, so I'm finding any reason at all to burn more gas

God, what a great thing to say. I got mine 1 week after I graduated from college... first new car I ever purchased, but totally worth it. It's still amazing to catch myself smiling as I walk up to one of the most vicious little machines I've ever driven. I'll say this: I've had the great fortune of driving several fast cars, and I mean exotics and the like, and MY little S2000 is one of the funnest cars still to this day. I'd say the only 2 cars I've enjoyed MORE, were a 2005 Gallardo as first spot, then the NSX as the second spot...not too bad to follow those 2 cars! Anyone who disregards the S2000 as some sort of "rice rocket", is certainly uneducated, and is probably VERY biased in their view. I find several American car fans that toss the S2000 aside as some sort of hopped up Japanese economy car, but it is a pure bred sporting car. I love my S2000 and always will despite owning nicer cars in the future. Sorry to rant, but I get stirred up at times.

You gotta take me for a ride, Lane!! Seriously. You get it all tuned up yet? How is the damper adjusting coming? Hope that info I sent helped out. LMK
Yep, it's tuned ... 415WHP w/310 torque! Haven't had time to work on the damper adjustments yet, but I've got them set for good spirited driving. Need to get my anti-bumpsteer kit installed and get an alignment first.

I work in Addison, just give me a ring if you're in town during the week.

God that's awesome! I would love to see the look on the faces of the mustang drivers on those straightaways now!

You better learn how to drift before the next autox!

I think your D2's are single adjustable (rebound only). At least that makes things semi-easy with 415whp. Just keep all on full stiff: Do your rotating under braking (while the rear is rebounding at full stiff), and then plant that 415whp with the front rebounding at full stiff-keeping the tail down out of the corners.

I'm busy as heck but will definately call you for a ride if I get a chance, thx.

I waited even longer to get mine - seven years! I still take it out every night for 30 to 90 minutes and just drive it. I'm averaging over 100 miles a day in it for the first 17 days of ownership (and my daily commute is only 9 miles each way).

I spend at least an hour every night looking at intakes, cooling plates, wheels, and DIY instructions. I'm trying to figure out how to buy mods without my wife knowing!
