Autocross setup volunteers needed!
A few of our regulars won't be able to make it to this event, so we're looking for a few motivated bodies to help us make sure everything goes successfully. There's a few different ways to help out:
First, is that we need somebody to join us at sunrise to set up the course. Basically, involves taking a course map and setting up cones to match. It does involve some creativity and independent thinking, however, since what the map says doesn't always match up well with the actual debris on the course.
Second, we need somebody to be the registrar. This means taking people's money (haha), making sure everybody signed the waiver form, and getting the entrants list to me so I can get everybody into the timing software.
Third, we'd like an additional set of eyes as a safety official. In a way this is everybody's responsibility, but we'd like to have some people who are being particularly vigilant looking for safety issues. Speeding in the pits, kids wandering into the grid, that sort of thing.

Elistan - I think we finally have some people for setup. I've recruited Jeremy G., David T., Robb S., Canadice S., Greg E., RyanDL, and Iain. Of course more people will make it go faster!
I agree, we still NEED a registrar and second safety official...
BTW, when is everyone going to meet up at Marcucci's?

Well, turns out I have something I need to take care of at work at 6:00pm Friday, so I'll be a lot later getting ready than I originally intended.
Maybe I can get the stuff ready tonight, but if not I hope it won't be a problem getting the equipment from Todd's without me.
