Cheap dyno time
I meant to post this after my last tuning session. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that Speedworks dyno fees have gone down at some point in recent history. Prices (as of the last time I was there, around 12/18/03) were as follows:
$45 - "Baseline run", 3 pulls.
$70/hr for tuning.
These are about as cheap as anywhere that I have seen. Keep in mind that they are more of a domestic shop, so they won't be proficient with a VAFC or eManage or similar, but if you can do the tuning yourself, those are some pretty good rates.

Not bad. I've never even heard of that place.
Sidenote: all prices at Speedworks include AF. Plus, they have a pretty big-screen flatpanel TV so you can see your data real-time.

I can vouch for Kwik Kar also. They have a dynojet.
Shawn is a good friend of mine. Be sure to call them to set up a certain time cause they usually are busy with oil changes.
I think the owner of the shop bought the $40,000 dynojet just to mess with his car.
