Cleaning Plastic Window
I need to figure out a way to clean the plastic rear windshield on my 01. The window looks like theres some sort of blurry/cloudy stuff on the window. It's also starting to turn yellow and I can't really see out. I'll eventually upgrade to a glass top, but at the moment since finances does not allow, I need a band-aid fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

does the 02+ fit on an 01? or do i need to modify it? one day soon, hopefully. i can't stand not being able to see out my back window!
clovis, do you happen to have those items laying around? if you do, can i borrow it from you and pay you a "user's fee"?

I used something from Blue Coral IIRC, from Autozone. Just some general plastic cleaner billed for use for plastic headlight/taillight lenses. Worked great. Be warned that it will take a lot of elbow grease no matter what, and there will be just as much damage on the inside as there will be out.
Every time the top is raised and lowered, the canvas rubs on the window, plus all the stuff from outside that sticks to the window, causes the hazing. Regular use of a product like this will help to keep the damage down, but the "real" solution as mentioned... is the glass top.
