Default Cleaning Plastic Window

I need to figure out a way to clean the plastic rear windshield on my 01. The window looks like theres some sort of blurry/cloudy stuff on the window. It's also starting to turn yellow and I can't really see out. I'll eventually upgrade to a glass top, but at the moment since finances does not allow, I need a band-aid fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Meguiars Plastic Cleaner from PepBoys follwed by Plexus Plastic Polish from a motorcycle shop. That will make it look much better.

Meguiars Plastix is ok, I use it on the Miata. It will get out the fresher/smaller crap but if you have permanent damage then you won't have much luck. Just get a glass window/top from a 02+

You can put a 02 top on a 00/01, our 00 has a retrofit top that Clovis did. I have a bottle of that plastix cleaner if you want to come by and use it, it's only 4 bucks at autozone though.

I used something from Blue Coral IIRC, from Autozone. Just some general plastic cleaner billed for use for plastic headlight/taillight lenses. Worked great. Be warned that it will take a lot of elbow grease no matter what, and there will be just as much damage on the inside as there will be out.

Every time the top is raised and lowered, the canvas rubs on the window, plus all the stuff from outside that sticks to the window, causes the hazing. Regular use of a product like this will help to keep the damage down, but the "real" solution as mentioned... is the glass top.

I used the Plexus stuff too when I drove an '00. It sort of worked.

My ultimate solution is not advised: Crash car, buy a new one with a glass window. It's hardly worth it.
