Co-drive?
Well, after perusing the '04 Season Points standings, it looks like I don't even need to show up for the final event to win Miata R for the year.
So.... that brings up an interesting question. Since I'm still planning on going, and since I enjoy driving different cars, I'm interested in co-driving someone else's car at the final event. Any takers?
In exchange for the opportunity to drive your car, I'll be more than happy to pick up your entry fee (or reimburse you what it would have cost, if you paid up front for the year), and buy you lunch. If you want day-long personal instruction in your car, I'll be happy to oblige that as well. I'll also be happy to run for exhibition times only, in case my finish might screw up a heated season-end points battle in some other class.
Street tires, race tires, modified, stock, fwd or rwd, I'm not that picky. Mostly, I just like driving different cars when the opportunity presents itself. If you're interested, drop me a PM.
