anyone around here dropped ~2 inches on stock struts, with just different springs? skunk2 says their springs lower by 2", wondering if its going to jack up the car, i.e., fender rubbing, other bad things, etc., haha...

Thanks for the info!!

no rub, but say goodbye to you CVs and you struts. just springs tends to put too much stress on the stock shocks, and a two inch drop puts lots of stress on those CVs..ask Mic Crispy about ridin too low in the rear

not neccessarily, if you did a spring, strut combo like the koni yellows and the skunk2 springs you might find some good results. try doing a search for the koni yellows and see what people think about those and all the different springs. i know some guys like ameet are running those types of setups

That's the spirit. I've been thinking about getting some coilovers as well... $$$

Don't Konis run about $600. Tack on some springs for another $200, and you might as well save a few more and get coilovers. Don't you think?

Could help. But dropping any more than an 1" or so will dork up the camber curves so bad you can toss the S2000's handling capabilities out the window. Not to mention the CV carriers are going to develop the divot and you'll be on the bumpstops more often then not.
