Is your S the first convertible in your family?

My father recently sent me this pic from the 40's. When he was 16 in Scotland, he was getting bombed every night, so he volunteered for the British Army. They sent this 16 year old to "Trans-Jordan" to fight Rommel. (Note: When I was 16, I joined the football team.)
