I run 255 race tires on the rear with zero issues. Fred, I understand that some people even run 275s w/o issue. David, for example I think. With a properly secified wheel, you should be fine.
I run 275's in the rear without a problem, although I do not have race tires on there. I havnt even rolled my fender yet and with the clearance I have I might be able to shove 295's on there but I dont have the power for such traction.

I'll use it on my car, let anyone else who wants use it, and then sell it. Probably come out about the same as renting. Selling on ebay, I might even make some money.
If you've not already ordered one of these, I have one. I would rent it for 25.00 with a 250 refundable deposit... Of course, if you just wanted to use it in my driveway, I wouldn't charge the deposit.

Some day, I have dreams of offering a fender rolling service, but I need to unburry myself from the projects that I already have...

PM if you're interested.

He could be having issues with rubbing due to a combination of the following:

1) Lowering & Spring Rate.
2) Wheel Offset...need alot in the rear.
3) Tire Size vs. the above.

Where the wheel is rubbing is important to figure it out for sure.

As far as I know all the suspension parts are stock. The wheels are supposedly +54 offset, and it definately sounds like something isn't good back there.
