Default Front passenger side clunk

At low speeds tonight, I noticed a clunk in the right front wheel area when I would hit an expansion joint or other sharp impact bump. I have a completely stock suspension. I tried hard and couldn't really hear the clunk at speed. Could be too loud with other ambient noises at speed? At parking lot speeds, there is a definite clunk up there. The wheel is torqued appropriately, so no issues there.

I plan to pull the wheel off tomorrow after work and wiggle stuff around up there, but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?

Thanks for all the help, punks.

Pulled the wheel off and there is oil all over the shock. Well, guess that solves that puzzle.

Surprised I have a blown shock on a completely stock suspension with an '05 with 16,000 miles.

Here's someone with a similar symptom. Maybe it's the same problem that you're having.

Yep, read that thread before I responded to my thread. Oh well. Just need to take it in to get fixed.

Bankston Honda is the closest dealer to me. Hope they don't screw anything up.

I think the extra weight of your hardtop caused it so you should be denied warranty coverage

I would think it's the extra weight of my fat a**, but it's on the passenger side? I've gained 15lbs since I got married a year ago. At this rate, I'll be 400lbs when I'm in my early 40's.

make sure you take some pics of your wheels and the wheels lug nuts area before you taking your S to the dealer for the shocks install.
