It's not the first ticket as there was a rash of them being given in Plano a while back. My car was one of them.

The cops use that as an excuse to pull you over or an added violation.

It also gets your car looked at more carefully so you are more likely to be noticed that you are speeding

New laws make it no longer a fix it ticket.

i wasnt being bad about it. he even found out i was military and he still gave me one anyways i found that the transportation code doesnt specify the "front" of the vehicle. even tho the front bumper is where most plates go. nevertheless i just bought that retractable plate so i dont get pulled over..

Should ask why not mercedez and bimmer lolz. Btw even you don't put it on bumper, don't put your plate on windshield again. That's not good idea.

What's the benefit of the retractible front plate? It's not going to save you from a ticket unless you leave it displayed all the time. If there was a button that you could press to have it automatically deploy, that would be nice...

BTW, no ticket citations in Frisco were $190 a few years ago. I've received a few of them in addition to or in llieu (sp?) of other violations.

Agree and disagree. If the cop is a douche, he'll still give you the ticket for trying to be an smartass with that "retractable crap" lmao
