Internships
To be honest, to anything...I'm working on a Science major with emphasis on Cytotechnology right now at UNT. My reason for the internship is to explore other careers out there. I don't know much about anything else outside the health field. So I'm hoping to explore all the possibilities before I concentrate and aim fully for a goal. I'd like to be able go at a goal knowing fully that I've research all of my options and that the goal I'm aiming for truly is what I want to pursue.
How far are you into your Major? My advice is to stick to one thing youre interested in and get your Bachelors as fast as you can. Work in the field a few years and if you enjoy the career then pursue it further, if not ...then thats what grad school is for.
I'm in my third year with the science major. I also have a chemistry minor as well as a business minor under my belt. This means that I can easily change my major or even double major since I already have quite a few credits in each respective field. I'm in no hurry to finish since my current job pays well enough for me to somewhat comfortably live off of. As a result, I will be taking my time and doing things right the first time.
