I've had a couple harrowing experiences in the past week since it has been colder. These high performance tires slip like crazy when it gets cold outside.

Be extra careful everyone!!!

This morning in the cold and wet was an adventure on half-worn S02s. I really need to look into a set of all seasons tires for the season we call *winter* in North Texas

Well I for one and ready for summer!!

This cold weather sux!!

IF it never got below 60 that would be alright with me.

I've lived up north and had more than my fill of winter to last a lifetime

I like cold weather. It's easier to do a nice slide around any available corners.

Yeah half worn s02's in the cold AND rain must suck.... when i had my AP1 i had worn s02's and it was not fun... and that was in the summer time..

These stock RE050's are great in the rain / cold btw... i had no problem this morning.

Yup notice that as well this morning. Thought it was because the roads were wet but then realized they weren't it was just really freaking cold

Hmm. I've got 17k mile old summer tires on the RX-8, and I never noticed any issues this morning. Gotta love that adaptive traction control...

I had a nagging feeling that I should check my air pressure this morning too.... glad I did - I was down to about 25psi all the way around. I love having a big compressor at home
