local government?
if a city doesn't have underground sewage, and instead has dips at pretty much every intersection for water to drain, and you damage your car because of an abnormaly low dip is the city government responsible for paying for the damages? Just wondering. Also looks like s2kdays was fun wish i could have been there. thanx! ~Richard new S in town up in sherman
They'll probably just say that you were going too fast for the conditions. I seriously doubt that the city would ever take responsibility for damage to a vehicle. BTW... which intersection were you at? There's one at Taylor & something (by the Kroger, if it's still there) that is really deep. If you can swerve around by the curbs, it's not so bad, but you still have to slow down a lot.
BTW... you're going to stand out in Sherman. I've only seen 2 or 3 S2000s up there, and they were all bone stock. (I'm originally from Howe, so I'm in the area every once in a while).
Sorry to hear about any damages you incurred.

I don't remember any "dangerous" dips up in Sherman.
I don't think you have a leg to stand on. Unless it's a pothole that comes from poor maintenence and not design. I'm not sure what MD roads are like but there are a lot of TX towns that use the road to handle runoff and don't have underground drainage. It's becoming less common, though. You just have to take it easy, just like you would over speedbumps or any other road "hazard."
Not sure how it is at 75/82 but there used to be one HELLUVA "ramp" at the frontage road intersections (82 eastbound at 75). I spent many a night trying to get all 4 wheels off the ground.
