I'm about to have an opening for a Senior Applications Engineer. I can either promote an Applications Engineer into that position, then backfill that position, or hire someone directly into the Senior position.

This position would require someone versed in electronics who understands analog electronics very well. Preferably a designer who has worked in design or power applications before. The position will require (and we are willing to train) use of chemicals for de-encapsulation of devices, failure analysis, lightning simulation testing, AC powercross testing.

I also may be looking at hiring a few good electronics technicians in the near future, too.
