Default Lowering Springs?

I am looking at the TEIN Lowering Spring for my 03 S2K... My question is, What else is required when putting these on the car? Will I need new shocks? I am dropping 1" front and back... Any info. from those who have done it would be appreciated!

You don't need anything
Just don't do it when it's really hot outside or it will be 100x harder..haha

I have skunk 2 and I have almost 2" drop front and back, I love it!

You will need spring compressors from your local autoparts store. It is def. something you would want to do with the help of a friend.

Also, it really, really help if you have an air compressor. Compressing the spring by hand is a pita (well for me anyways). I have heard about the bump steer kit installed for the front and the rear when dropped. But I think it is for more then a 2in drop. Correct me if I am wrong. The spoon kit also let you adjust the camber.

Or you can make things ten times easier and just shoot the springs like I did...
Just be smart about how you do it if you choose to do it this way...having the springs decompress as quickly as it does can cause quite a bit of damage.

Well.... it s2000 stock springs dont shoot out as much but u can compress it by hand just get someone who weighs like 160 or so and have them push their weight on it. But air compressed tools are a big plus

hahah wow..i havent seen that done since around 1998 when I first dropped my old car. That sucker went far!

but yea..the guy that did it for me also crushed his finger in the process....so be careful..

for first timer two main things you need are a spring compressor (you can loan-a-tool this at autozone or pepboys) and patience.
