Not everyone who owns an S2000 is on this board, or even feels like they are in a 'group' or 'club' because they drive and S2000.

Member s2kgeek9 and I have had this conversation before.

From my experience most S2000 buyers are not "enthusiasts" of the vehicle. They like the styling or the performance, but they aren't die hards. For example one person was considering a S2000 or a Z4. Once he realized they didn't come in Automatic....well you know what happened next. But I usually wave to one If I see them..they usually wave back.
But I have turned a few of my customers to this forum, and I think one of them even went to that roundup in May.

Yeah that happens to me sometimes, especially when a S2000 is coming towards me on the opposite side of the road. There's that split second where you know if you don't wave or do a thumbs up then he won't see you, and you don't want him to wave and then you not have enough time to do it back. So usually I decide to wave and the other driver just gives me this, "WTF are you doing" look.

You have to admit, the new viper does look like they copied cues from S2000...sort of.

dat, I've had the exact same experience. I flash lights and wave and I almost always get that WTF look or I'm just completely ignored. What are you goin' do? I'll just keep on waving and someday one of you guys/gals will wave back.
