Just wanted to share a track day video with you guys I made while sick over the holidays ...if you've never been out, you need to come. It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

BTW, I *love* the 3.1 @ MSR. I hope they host more days on the 3.1...

what kinda $ we looking at for something like that? not counting wear and tear items..

 

Apex does several single day events on the 3.1 every year. Cost is ~$200 for the day, but you must be a solo approved Intermediate or Advanced student to run the 3.1.

been there many times! Last time I was there I ended my day just like the end of your vid except I ended up sliding back onto the track and got up close and personal to a 300zx.

 

I can't agree more! I've been trying to persuade people to get on the track as well but some people just won't give it a try no matter what. If only event holders would offer free track days to first time drivers to get them hooked!

Videos tend to not do the actual experience justice for the average Joe. Go out there and try it! You won't regret it.

The 3.1 is one of my favorite tracks out there.

 

I will agree. I love the MSR 3.1 Big Track! HPDE is the most fun you'll ever have in your car, hands down.
