Well the Mercedes was rear ended a week ago and it is now being totaled. The damage isnt that bad but now the insurance company found out it was in a bad accident in 2000 and rebuilt with a new cluster so there is some odometer fraud of something over 300k miles. So I am going to let them take it away.

So now I need a car. I would love to get something newer but cant afford full coverage insurance. So I am looking for something under 5k. I want something light and that doesnt get horrible milage. If the car is under 2k then I wouldnt have a car payment. I am open to anything but preferably an older Japanese car, or if you know of a Miata. I need to buy in the next week or so. I second this recommendation. I used to have a '92 SE-R and I'm actually picking up a mint-condition '93 SE-R next week to replace my civic that got flooded a few weeks ago. It has most of the major mods (JWT ECU, CAI, hotshot header, big brake upgrade, 15" 200SX wheels, stillen short shifter, etc) and I got it for $2700. It needs new struts though. They are really fun cars, but may be a little hard to find.
