I operate a S2000 performance shop in Tampa, Florida and I had an email from a customer looking to get some work done in the Dallas area.

Can you suggest the best shop to send him to.

What kind of work is it, maintenance, performance, turbo? T1 race development (www.t1racedevelopment.com) does top notch work and Tony is an expert with turbo setups, tuning, fab, suspension etc. If it's simple maintenance there's a local Miata guy that can also work on S2000's and does a good job (www.miatasolutions.com).

Where is your shop in Tampa? I'm down there a few times a year as it's my sales territory.

 

I was looking for a good race shop on the forums earlier but no one responded....I guess I'll check out this T1 race development!

 

Ive also heard nothing but good things from Tony at T1 race development

as I am about to let them tune my Vafc

 

Just got off the phone with T1 racing and they suggested I take my car to Dallas frame alignment. I need my frame adjusted and they said that shop does a good job. I've heard from multiple sources now that this is the shop to go to.

Its maintenance under the valve cover to be exact but will lead into performance work later on.

My shop? I cant advertise on the forums but put a .com after my screen name and you can see for yourself. We specialize in boosted and built F20/F22 motors tuned on our AWD dyno.

Also check out Danny's Import service in Lewisville, TX for maintenance. It's a small family shop that only works on Honda/Acura and we had good luck with them as well as a few other locals here I believe. I'll try and look up your shop and swing by to say hi next time I'm in Tampa.
