http://www.h1v8.com/page/page/1562068.htm

2.8 liters the size of a 4 cylinder

Or maybe it would be better in a Miata

And what a deal:

"The engine price varies depending on build details and scope of supply. The 2.8 Liter version (84mm bore vs. 81 stock) with ecu, injection system, oil pump, flywheel, starter and alternator is under $30k. Delivery is quoted at time of order."

I never said it was cheap, only that it'd fit.

400 hp at 10,000 rpm! Nice! I can't even fathom what that Atom will be like with that much power and torque.

$30k isn't all that steep for a specialty motor like that. Hell, Cosworth 250hp Zetec long blocks start at $13k and go up from there.

You could certainly buy a lot more power in a small block Chevy for that price, but that looks like it would be a wild motor in a Miata, Lotus 7 clone, Radical, Atom, etc.

Some people are just crazy over a certain type of motor. I saw a video on youtube the other day of a 350Z with a 20B 3-rotor engine.
