Is it tinted? Did you buy it like that, or have it done afterwards?

The guy already had the rear tinted. That made me happy because I would have had to get it tinted to match my side windows.

Did the hardtop reduce the blind spots signifigantly, especially the drivers side? Since i havent sat in a hartop s2000 i was wondering if you can see out the back window when you turn your head to the left to check the driver side for cars(did that make sense)?

The rear window is dramatically bigger with the hardtop over the glass window in the softtop. It definitely reduced the blind spot quite a bit, but obviously there is still a bit of B pillar blocking the view.

Looks great. Nice to see a fellow hardtop-er.

And yes, the blindspot is greatly reduced with the hardtop. Once you drive HT, it's either HT or No Top.

Im glad to see that youre enjoying the hardtop. nextime we install one lets do it on a sub 100 degree day eh? Anyone wants help installing a hardtop when they get one Im all for it. It was mush less of a big deal than I (we) thought initially. I kinda miss my s2k Corey, but the car I got is sooooo big and roomy. Guess Ill have to get an s2k sometime later.

btw do you still want the stand or should I toss it?

James,

Hey there. I definitely want the stand and I apologize for not picking it up already. I would like to get it this weekend if possible. Please let me know a good time for you and I will get my dad's truck and head up to Oklaho....er, Frisco and pick it up. I'll call you.

So, did you get the Slade or Navigator? It sounds like everything worked out for you. Congrats!
