Default New S2000 Owner

I am newbie, just purchased an '01 S2000 from David McDavid Honda, it had 27700 miles. Spa Yellow w/black interior. It was Honda Certified.

Questions: Honda Certified worth it? Every now and then I hear clicking from the back or the front, like a spring?? Underneath, some of the edges of the metal is bent near a bolt, near the jack placing spot.

I would like to join the north texas group.

The car is a blast to drive.

Thanks Photodavo, I'll see if I can make it to the autocross and the party on the 26th.

yep. sure is!

I bought my S in September, 03 when she was brand new with only 5-10 miles on her. Since that time, I've put almost 25K miles on her and have been loving it. Two long road trips, a few to Houston, lots of back road driving on the weekends, 1 autocross (and another one this weekend), 1 autocross class, and back and forth 50 miles daily to/from work in Farmers Branch and home in Denton.

The best comparison that I can make is that driving/owning my S is like dating the high school beauty queen. But, unlike my high school's queen, my S ain't a beeatch when you get to know her!

best car I've ever owned.

Thanks for the replies. I certainly enjoy driving to work and it's only a 6 mile commute!
