Default Newest S2000?

Traded my 2002 Grand Prix White for a 2006 Silverstone, today.

Scott P at Bankston Honda did a great job getting the right car for me at the right price. He got my beloved MB Quart speakers switched the same day. Great job, Scott! Love the red/black interior.

Congrats Gene...
Was it a preference for a change in interior scenery (red/black) or some of the other changes that Honda has made? How do you like the handling and change in gearing & redline?

By the seat of the pants, the new one feels stronger in acceleration, though I'm honoring the break in by keeping revs below 5500 'til 600 miles. Seems to corner faster, too. The steering is a bit slower and the shifter is a little longer, which makes the throws longer. I like the 17" wheels much better- but it'll be a pain to keep 'em clean. Got a little tired of looking at the all red dash- this one's nicer.

Thanks for asking.

Hate to ask but how much did you get for it?

$19,000. Strange thing, I recently inquired on the board about battery life, since mine was approaching 4 yrs old. Well, after cleaning out my personal items from my 2002 to head out for Bankston, when I hit the start button, the battery completely died. I had to jump start it and nurse it to Bankston (The engine tried to die when going to idle.) By the time I got to Lewisville, it charged enough to restart. I told Scott P. about it- he was great- he didn't put me in the penalty box.

AGGGH! You're not supposed to tell! Gene's was a really clean car, and it's the right color. After Certification...it'll be one of the pricier ones on the pre-owned market.

Scott, maybe the guy wasn't supposed to tell but this might not have been a bad thing...if you were to offer me $19k for mine I could be persuaded to buy an '06 off you, or even an '05 if you have any left . I think you might remember my blue 02 from Joe T's before Christmas...Have 31000 miles on it now, still the same mint stock condition.

I will have a quick look at Honda's site and see what finance deals you have.

What colour combos do you have in stock? Edit: Just the white, black and silver?
