Default no more mods for a while

Got into an accident 2 hours ago going south on 75 near 635. I'm estimating damages to the car near $10,000 and probably more than a month wait. I think my wheels and exhaust escaped although one of the wheels is scratched up.

Seems like this car is bad luck for me. I think this is my 3rd accident in like a year and only one of them was partially my fault. Well, at least I came away without an injury after hitting the concrete median head on going pretty fast. Maybe I should get an IS300 or 3 Series like my parents told me to.

On the bright side, Kevin: I guess you don't have to look at my crossovers anytime soon.

Clovis, you're just morbid.

If you need another one, keep in mind I'm selling mine.

Hehe I'll see if I can get the insurance dude to email me the pics he takes tommorrow. One of my wheels is sitting crooked which leads me to believe something underneath is messed up. I'm hoping they just total it, but we'll see.

I was heading 75South in the 2nd from right lane. There was a Stratus in the right lane. The right lane exits to 635 west but I guess he didn't know that. Right as the exit came up, he swerved into my lane and side-swiped me at an angle and sent me spinning. I tapped the right shoulder support causing rear damage and then spun around 4 lanes and hit the median head on causing massive front damage. I

I am a little sore today but I'm still amazed I escaped without a scratch.

Yes Todd I know you are selling your's.

Not to take away what happened to you, but on October 26th, Friday night around 6:30 pm at 183W and Loop 12 exit to go south. Same thing happen to me when I was on my Suzuki SV650s, black ford ranger ext cab took me right out( pulled across three lanes and I was ridding in between 2 cars). Knocked me off the bike and out across the shoulder into the ditch and when I was knocked out, I saw myself from 3rd person in the accident. He didn't stop and no one got the license plate, I walked away with road rash and swollen shin and a left foot. I was blessed enough to get back up and ride home, I know that sounds crazy, but I did. And yes I had a helmet on! I would be a vegi right now, if I hadn't.

I fixed the bike and a week and a half ago, a guy that works for me, came over to my house and wanted to take a "test drive", so I let him. He went on 1 too many and wiped out in my neighbors front yard and damaged the bike in the same areas again and bent both of my rims when he hit the curb.

I know what you mean about bad luck. I am going to get the bike fixed again and ride it for the summer and most likely sell it and buy a cruiser. I am not affraid to ride, just more aware of things that are going on around me, it has made me a better driver in the car.

I was contemplating on getting a bike this summer but after stuff like this I think I'm gonna stay away. I'm gonna go to the body shop around 10 and see what they say.

Does this guy STILL work for you? I'm surprised you didn't have Guido pay him a little visit.

That's smart. So I guess you'll send Guido to break his knees after he is done paying you back?
