thanks for the info guys! i found mine this morning at Dallas Honda on LBJ freeway, just west of Abrams and LBJ. i got up early this morning and ran in just after they opened. the guy tried to sell me a similar Honda product but i insisted on trying the Plexus since the people in the club recommended it. i ran home and applied it, expecting great things. well, i wasn't disappointed! it was awesome! why didn't i buy this product sooner? cuz i was dumb i guess. wow, what an incredible difference, my rear window is crystal clear! i'm so happy.............

No one has owned up to closing this thread. I did not.
I can understand how it may have appeared to be a non sponsor ad at a glance but it is obviously not.

That being said, has anyone found Plexus at a store in Tarrant County (Fort Worth or Mid Cities)?

Thanks for the informative post. My rear window needs help this weekend.

Stefan

I forgot that I have an extra bottle of Plexus in my closet. If anyone (around Plano) is interested let me know. I prefer Meguires plastic cleaner and polish anyways...

DeeGYM, I have both (Plexus and Meguires clear plastic cleaner and polisher), is there any reason why you prefer the Meguires?

Randy,

Before I got the Meguires (sp?) cleaner and polish, I could not get that filmy/cloudy residue off my window. I tried scrubbing with the miracle towel and plexus many times, but with no help.

My window would be clean, but that filmy/cloudy stuff was still on there. It's very noticeable when your car is in the sun or light.

Meguires took that filmy stuff off. My window is now crystal clear. I will still use plexus as a cleaner, but when my window starts to build that film again, that's when I will use Meguires again.

BTW, that filmy/cloudy stuff builds up from the inside of the window. It took me awhile to notice if it was from the inside or outside.

I was concerned that another moderator might have become overzealous. No harm done by closing but you can see that others continue to use the informative thread you started.

Thanks again.

I haven't tried Plexus yet but I do use both of the Meguire's polish components. I agree it works great but I was hoping to find a wipe on and off solution. Sometimes the Meguire's is a bit hard to completely buff off leaving a film of its' own.

Stefan:

I finally got off my butt and went to buy some Plexus. They have it at the Yamaha/Suzuki shop at Hwy 10 and Loop 820 in Hurst. I got the big can for about $9.

if you call meguiars, they have a nice plastic window detailing kit for $19 which includes their #10, 17, 18(polisher, cleaner, detailer) and some nice towels and polishing pads for cleanup. You can't find the #10 or 18 at retail - I think it was only the detailer #17 which is at kragen(www.cskauto.com)

I gave up on finding the plexus product and meguiars always works well.
