question
Explain your question in more detail, did they call you or send you a letter? I think honda's first MAJOR service is 100K miles. Look in your owners manual and it should tell you the intervals for service that you need to keep up with. Just follow that and you should be just fine.
iam startin to think this car is a "lemon". i have nothing but problems with this peace of crap!! first the little things, then tranny, jsut got out of shop due to rear axel popping and now evertime i g to take off u hear a rattle like popping noise kinda like putting a card in you bike tire..but when to go put in third no matter what speed it goes away..so at 30mph in second u hear it but if i go in third it goes away..
You still didn't explain what you meant.
Your car is an 03 so I thought they had fixed the axle pop issue. It's not really a big deal, the nuts just needed to be retorqued to a higher torque value than the factory did.
What happened to the tranny?
Don't know what the new noise is but the stuff you've described so far is far from a Lemon.

A car is only a lemon if the same problem happens over and over within a certain time period and mileage. It sounds like you keep having different problems and I think that axle nut popping is actually a TSB so honda knows about it and should take care of the problem.
As far as the transmission I've heard a lot of different stories but I know the internals of that thing were pretty much grinded to death since I use the same guy that fixed your car. My best suggestion is to just take care of one thing at a time, be courteous to your service advisor and they should take care of you if your car is still within warranty

well yea but i did buy that car with some miles.yea chad is the one who did the work great guy knows what he is doing! and the noise sounds like it is coming from the gear box! when i let the clutch out and start to move you can here the noise, this happens in only 1 and 2.after that the nosie is gone or jsut really quite.my guess is it might need to be oiled or w/e or maybe alighnment in the gears?? i dunno i wil jsut drop it of in the morning.
by the way as for the service advisor, i jsut deal with the manager b/c my last one could never seem to tell the truth.

Explain your question in more detail,
You never explained the context of your original question.I would assume any of the 30/60/90/etc services could be considered "major service". Maybe even the 15K, but I'm not sure what's on the list, there.
To say that it's "past due" is exactly what it means. If there is something that was supposed to be performed at 30K, and your car has 31K but hasn't had that service performed, then that is a past-due service.
