I think its great your trying to help out the community, but I would suggest checking the grammar in this post in order to do business with something as personal as taxes.

I have a friend who had a great tax guy. Now he is paying penalties and back taxes on the great tax guy mistakes. I personally just spend the money and go to a CPA who specializes in taxes. Not all CPAs do taxes. Also ANYONE can be a tax person with no training, education or certifications. Be careful.

If you know how to read, can use a computer, and have a little patience you can definitely do your own taxes. Of course small business owners can benefit from a CPA.

On top of that; if you're getting huge refunds, realize that you could be taking that money home every pay check instead of giving the government an interest free loan throughout the year.

W4 withholding is a beautiful thing; use it.

Yes sir, I am a personal/small business banker and when it comes to taxes, everybody needs to be very careful. CPA's might be costly when having your income tax reviewed and filed however they have gone through extensive schooling and training to ensure that they stay within the proper guidelines. I've seen serious cases where people and businesses attempt to file taxes on their own only to have to pay penalties and have the IRS audit them. Being able to receive a lot or not getting back much at all is the same depending if you're properly being taken care of or well experienced in the field. If your friend has been doing this for awhile and has had no errors then I'm assuming that he is either doing something right or he hasn't been reviewed.
