The S is Clean
So I washed the S Sunday and made her look really good...
Since that washing, I've had an M3, a Neon SRT and a 69 ultra souped up camaro try to get me to race...
At the camaro, I gave him a thumbs up cause it was sweet.
At the SRT and M3, I casually pulled up next to them at the next traffic light and gave them a grin to let them know I might be able to beat them, but they weren;t worth my time.
You guys seem to get more race requests when your car is clean?

What makes you think an E36 or E46 M3 wouldn't beat you? The E36 is a drivers race (except you don't run your car hard so you would lose) and the E46 would trash you. As for the SRT4, there are plenty of stage 2+ crazier ones out there that would kill a stock S2000 as well.
I don't condone street racing but as far as a straight line goes the S2000 is S L O W.

On the street, anything can happen. I heard from a friend of a friend about a white S2000 beating a red E46 M3 by 3 car lenghts from a digg on the GWB service road. I have no reason to doubt him...

I still find it more fun to taunt others to race than to actually race...
A simple goose of the gas pedal goes a long way in this department.
And a super clean car certainly doesn't hurt.

Altho I like 3vilMonkey's Idea best -- tell them to hold up, put on some goggles and gloves, and then give them the thumbs up to race...lol.

Try right lane -- and revving. When the light turns green, turn right.
