when i bought my car i was in my work uniform so i drove directly to my work after buying my s2k yes it was used but it only has 40k miles on it it's in good condetions

i was driving home from work at about 1:30 am on sat night as i come to a stop light i see a dodge ram truck pull next to me . the light turns green we go not trying to speed or anything there's a dip right under the light so i kinda curve right ,left so i dont scratch my ( CFL ) carbon fiber lip well about a quarter of a mile ahead the truck changes lanes on me hits my car (driver side door, fender, wheel, and my mirror some how my plexi glass convertible window cracked ) i was so freakin mad then he speeds away thinking he is actually going to out run the s2000 so he pulls into a neighbor hood doing about 85 mph i was like damn this kid is going to wreck it's just the matter of time when. as i thought he slams into a 2002 chevy camaro ss 35th aneversity they only made 3000 of those in the world so he decides to run by feet he tries to run away with his four buddies the kid was 16 he had four budWiser cases of 20's after he runs from two scenes and driving drunk , he dont get arrested this happend last sat one week from today i didn't even get to sport my s2k in good shape

what shop should i take my car to i live in ft.worth texas just moved in from bakersfield california i am 18 years old .............?

how much could i fix my plexi window for ? the insurance will pay i am just curiouse of how this would be fixed .. damn i am so freakin mad every time i think of it it gets me mad i freaken work so hard to drive this and just because i kid decieds to drive drunk.......

 

sorry to hear about your luck. it's a little weird that the plastic rear window cracked. why was the kid not arrested?



but, my head hurts from reading that...

(also, there are no 2005 camaros. the 35th aniv editions were 2002....35 years after 1967. )

damn kid has not called his insurance for a statement so his insurance wont continue the case till he does his statement but, if i call the so h can call. the damn kid can file harrasing.... thats what the insurance told me god it's a head ack.....

I'd think your insurance company would provide any legal help you need...

good luck man... that's a crappy situation (though his actions do help to establish that it definitely wasn't your fault)

 

make sure you file an accident report with the police. if you have his license plate, they can pursue him to get his side of the story. (not that it will help him...sounds like it's pretty straight-forward that he was negligent.) i wouldn't rush out to pay for a lawyer just yet. let the police shake him up.

Also Enterprise car rental is just down the street, and his insurance should provide you with a car. Ask for Jeff and tell him Chesley, with the S2000 told you to ask for him. They will help you with everything and make it as painless as possible.

hey thanks man ima check it out thursday my next day off today i went to dallas to the attorney's office filed the paper work so now i am back to waiting.For now i am going to go look for aprases i think thats how you spell it .
i hope everything turns out good. hope my car doesn't look takkyERRR....


since turkey day is my 2nd day completly of work and schoool i wanted to meet up with some s2k owners just to have a good time but it's embarrassing driving around with the car being damaged like this

Caliber worked on my Prelude and did a horrible job. I will not go back.
There is a place across from where Gotham racing used to be. I'm told that guy is a true artist.

 

there is one that i can recomend in garland by forest lane. the guy did my car too. if you dont want to pay your deductable in your insurance he might work it out with you.

 

did the kid ditch the truck?? and did you file a police report?? the kid was drunk drivng so it is no way your fault
