Had my top replaced a couple of weeks ago by David. He did a superb job on the top and also cleared up my headlights. Dropped it off Friday night around 8ish and received a call at 4PM on Saturday informing me it was complete. I upgraded to a glass window and canvas. Get the canvas, it's well worth it. As for TopsOnline, they also did a fantastic job. I was off the phone in less than 10mins when ordering and shipping was insanely fast for being free. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner! Thanks again David!

Does the Glass Top on a 2001 spoil the handling? or is that just a rumor?

My car won't even turn after i got a new top, so yes, it definitely spoils the handling

For Example.. Ferrari said on there Ferrari F430 Spider that they used plastic on the back window because they thought having glass to high will spoil the handling.

Also.. I've read on forms around here that it could..

So I want to hear from people that have changed to glass..

Rumor...there is maybe a 4 or 5 lb difference in a glass window top vs plastic. Glass is better in every way.

Clovis just replaced my top on my 2001 with the canvas version and glass window.....looks great! I can actually see out of the back window and the canvas seems a little darker black than the vinyl.

That canvas top looked great! Is it more durable than the OEM one?

Yep, I agree. The canvas should be more durable and less likley to crack/split than the OEM which is made from PVC.

Is the Robbins top that much better than the EZ on? Do we only get the discount on the Robbins?
