Default S2KDays 2004

Just in case you have not seen...

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=219613

Some of us have an "exciting" drive through New Mexico/Colorado planned to get there. Five vacation days is all it takes, and as the saying goes, the more, the merrier.

If anyone wants to tag along, send me a PM.

I think the general consensus was that since this is an S2000 event, the track day is for S2000s only.

Which suits me just fine. Less cars on the track = more track time per car. I am selfish that way.

August 19th is the last day for registration.

Hey there Ulrich...when did you change out the avatar? I've already registered and have plans to fly out for this one but your route sounds very interesting. Hmmmm...I may reconsider as I have already arranged to take the entire week off. I'll send you a PM shortly at that other place.

Nivek2002 - even if I do end up driving up for the event I think I'll keep all of my own track time this time. Looking forward to seeing the Civic bacvk out at the next NTS2KOC autox in September!!!

And for all of you other locals this is a great opportunity. For those of us that went to Austin last year this event is going to be MUCH cheaper. Can you say "FREE track day???" And what better way to get away from the Texas heat than to take a break in the cool Colorado mountains on awesome roads?!? It's also going to be much more layed back with just the one "banquet" dinner so as to further reduce the cost.

Plus, can we really allow the Houston crowd to dominate the Texas contingent??? Check it out and join us!!!

Glad to hear you're getting her back. Have fun getting reaquainted! It looks like I'm still going to stick with my original plan and fly up for the event. As event photog I'll be concentrating on that and catching rides where I can as well. The contingent from Houston has quite the cool road trip plan though so you never know.
